Some links on Backpacking Bible are affiliate links. If you click one and book a hostel, tour, transport or other service, the company you book with may pay us a commission. You pay the same price as you would going to them directly.

We work, or plan to work, with partners including Hostelworld, GetYourGuide, Booking.com, 12Go and SafetyWing. Some of these partnerships are run through affiliate networks such as Partnerize, CJ (Commission Junction), Awin and Travelpayouts, which track the bookings and pay the commission.
Partners do not pay for coverage, review what we write, or decide where we send you. We recommend places and services on what we think of them, and we write about places we have no affiliate link for. If a better option has no affiliate programme, we still recommend it.
Commissions pay for hosting, travel and the time it takes to keep the guides up to date.
When you click an affiliate link, the partner or affiliate network may set a cookie on its own site so that it can match a booking to the link. Those cookies are set by the partner, not by us, and the partner’s own privacy and cookie policies apply. We receive reports of clicks, bookings and commission.
